Refund Policy

At The Ceramic Shack, we make every creation with love, creativity, and a little bit of wonkiness! We want you to be happy with your purchase, but we understand things don’t always go as planned.

Returns & Cancellations

If you've purchased a ready-made item online and change your mind, you have 14 days from the day after receiving your order to let us know you'd like to cancel.

Once you've notified us, you'll have a further 14 days to return the item.

Items must be returned in their original condition, securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, return postage costs are the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked postal service.

Personalised & Made-to-Order Items

Items made to your personal specifications or clearly personalised, such as keyrings with your chosen wording, are generally exempt from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

However, this does not affect your rights if an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please note that a made-to-order item does not automatically mean it is exempt from cancellation rights. Standard designs made after an order is placed may still be eligible for cancellation.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Although our pottery is wonderfully wonky, it should never arrive broken!

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, photographs.

We'll work with you to arrange an appropriate refund, replacement or other remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Refunds

For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, refunds will include the original standard delivery charge, where applicable.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving evidence that it has been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Handmade Character

Every piece from The Ceramic Shack is handmade, meaning slight differences in colour, shape, texture and glaze are part of its charm.

These natural variations are not necessarily faults, but items must still match their descriptions and be of satisfactory quality.
