At The Ceramic Shack, we love cookies almost as much as we love pottery! Sadly, these aren't the chocolate-chip kind.

This policy explains how cookies work, why our website uses them and how you can control them.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information, keep things running smoothly and improve your browsing experience.

How We Use Cookies

Our website is built using Squarespace, which uses cookies to support website functionality.

Essential Cookies

These help our website work properly, including:

• Keeping your shopping basket working.

• Supporting secure checkout and payments.

• Protecting the website from security threats.

• Remembering necessary website settings.

These cookies are essential to providing certain website services and do not generally require consent.

Analytics Cookies

Squarespace offers analytics tools that help us understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited and how visitors find us.

Where analytics cookies are used, we will request your consent before placing them.

Functional Cookies

Some cookies help remember your preferences or support additional website features.

Where these cookies are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent.

Marketing Cookies

If we introduce advertising, marketing integrations or other tracking features, these may use additional cookies.

We will request your consent before placing any non-essential marketing cookies.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you visit our website, you can choose whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies using our cookie banner.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from browsing our website or purchasing our handmade creations.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses Squarespace and may use third-party services to support secure payments, deliveries and other website features.

These services may use cookies where necessary to provide their functionality.

How Long Are Cookies Stored?

Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while others remain for a set period.

The duration depends on the cookie and its purpose.

Details of individual cookies, their providers and expiry periods should be provided in our website's cookie information.

Your Privacy

We take your privacy seriously and do not sell your personal information.

For more information about how we collect, use and protect personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
